virtualROI was founded in 2008 by Tobias Andersson, Chris Harding and Jeremy Hughes. After many years of working both agency and client-side, the founders felt the need to create an agency that adopted the approach of a virtual organisation to deliver B2B digital marketing solutions and services.

This approach provides the company with a scalable and flexible structure enabling us to be seen as an extension to our clients marketing departments. By advising on best practice for B2B data and digital marketing a trusted advisor relationship is built and maintained. The company continues to be privately funded through organic growth with developments to the company being driven by our clients requirements for digital marketing solutions and services.

Jermey Hughes

Sales Director

Jeremy has over 12 years of experience in sales and key account management and development, predominantly within the IT and telecom sector. Jeremy holds several IDM qualifications and has worked within agency environments for over 13 years. Outside of work Jeremy enjoys playing cricket and spending time with his family and growing Chilli plants! Jeremy is highly strategically minded and has a proven track record in all aspects of sales and marketing.

Tobias Andersson

Client Services Director

Tobi oversees project management for all customers, ensuring we meet relevant deadlines and that our clients are happy with the progression of projects from concept to completion. Tobi holds a Master's degree in marketing and has over 14 years of experience within software and agency environments, managing campaign implementations and project management of international marketing solutions and strategies. Outside of work, Tobi enjoys playing the drums as well as skiing the Swedish mountains.

Chris Harding

Technical Director

Chris has over 12 years of experience in digital marketing. He specialises in the development of email marketing, website design and construction, database development and data management, SEO/PPC as well as social media marketing. Outside of work Chris is a keen motorsport fan and regularly tests his skills on track days. Chris holds a BA Hons for Information System Analysis from Bristol UWE. Chris ensures our digital solutions are effective and eye catching with awards from the TFM&A and IDM for his work in this arena.

First full year of trading

After founding the company in late 2008, the completion of the first full year of trading resulted in complete return on investment.


Exponential growth

A fantastic year with over 300% growth as a result of winning several major key accounts in the technology sector. Several strategic partnerships are finalised forging on-going mutually beneficial relationships.


Joined the DMA and IDM

A natural extension to being strong advocates of best practice for digital marketing was the decision to join both the DMA and IDM. Social Media officially added as a service fuelled by key client requests.


Sponsored charity event

Sponsored the 'The Motoscape Banger rally 2012' in aid of The British Heart Foundation. A fantastic challenge encompassing driving across 10 countries in 7 days in a 22 year old car and all for a great cause.


We're 5 years old

Time flies when you are having fun as they say, so the 5 year anniversary of the company came upon us rather quickly. A retrospect on our own marketing highlights the requirement of v5.0 of the website, slightly delayed as client work always comes first.


Email master class at CIM

Proud to be chosen to deliver an email marketing master class at the Thames Valley branch of CIM. Telemarketing officially added as a service through select partners fuelled by key client requests.


International expansion

European road trips results in strategic partner relationships. Company growth across EMEA continues and also sees new client wins in both Russia and the US.


Thames Valley office location

As part of the UK growth, a second office location has been established in the heart of Thames Valley in Reading town centre. We're right next to the IoD.


The year of GDPR

Certification as EU GDPR Practitioner resulted in data being back in focus as well as increased consulting in this area.
